Indication
For use in broiler, layer and breeder chickens as an immunological aid in the reduction of Salmonella Typhimurium, Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Heidelberg colonisation of the digestive tract and internal organs. Also as an immunological aid in the reduction of Salmonella Typhimurium and Salmonella Enteritidis colonisation of intestinal, visceral and reproductive tract, including egg colonisation.
Presentation
SV – 500 doses (breeders), 1000 doses (commercial layers) live attenuated Salmonella Typhimurium bacteria per vial.
MV – 1000 doses (breeders), 2000 doses (commercial layers) live attenuated Salmonella Typhimurium bacteria per vial.
Vaccination program
Three vaccinations with live attenuated live Salmonella Typhimurium during rearing.

Megan Vac 1 Vaccination Program
Vaccine administration
1 day of age – spray, 2 weeks of age – drinking water or spray, 16 weeks of age – drinking water or spray.
Precautions
Store refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C. Do not allow to freeze. Do not expose to disinfectants or heat.
In accordance with the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) best practice, all susceptible birds on site should be vaccinated concurrently with the dose recommended by the manufacturer.
Vaccinate only healthy birds.
Avoid direct contact with the product. If accidental human contact occurs, clean the area with soap and flush with clean water. Consult a doctor. Wear a mask and gloves while handling the vaccine. Avoid breathing the spray.
