To aid in the prevention of Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) [Gumboro Disease] of chickens.

Presentation

1000 doses of live freeze dried intermediate Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) vaccine per vial. Each dose comprises ≥ 104.3 TCID50 IBD virus Lukert strain.

Vaccination Program

Healthy chicks may be given Bursine®-2 from 7 days-of-age or older.

Breeders are given Bursine®-2 as a primer 6 to 8 weeks before administration of inactivated Poulvac® Maternavac IBD-REO between 16 and 22 weeks-of-age (4 weeks prior to lay).

Vaccine administration

Administer Bursine®-2 in drinking water or spray.

Precautions

Store refrigerated at 2 to 7°C. Do not allow to freeze.
Do not expose to disinfectants or heat.
Use only on premises with a history of IBD.
Use immediately after reconstitution.
The vaccine virus will spread from vaccinated birds.
